Treasure Mole: Winter Vacation 1.0

A short while ago we took a look at an Alawar Entertainment-published game called Treasure Mole. In that game you controlled a mole that dug around for treasure in the underground. The goal in the game was to collect gold nuggets and/or destroy enemies to move on to the next level, and collect minerals and gems for extra points. Gather enough points in the game’s 90 levels and you could make it to the Hall of Fame.

Now we take a look at Treasure Mole: Winter Vacation, the winter edition of the Treasure Mole game mentioned above. The premise of the Treasure Mole: Winter Vacation game is that even though winter has come, the mole is still gathering treasures and fending off enemies.

If in Treasure Mole you could drop boulders on your enemies, in Treasure Mole: Winter Vacation you can drop snowballs. You can take out an enemy using weapons, but if the chance arises, instead of wasting your weapons you can just drop a snowball on the enemy.

The goal you must reach to move on to the next level is displayed in the upper right hand corner – it was in the upper right hand corner in Treasure Mole as well. And just like in Treasure Mole, the points you managed to accumulate are displayed at the bottom of the screen. The number of lives you have left is also displayed at the bottom.

You can play the game free of charge for a trial period of 60 minutes after you download and install it on your Windows-powered PC. Be careful during the installation process. You will be asked to change your default search provider, you will be asked if you want to change your homepage, and you will be asked if you want to install Game Box (contains Alawar Entertainment’s catalog of games). If you don’t want to change your homepage or search engine, or if you don’t want to install the Game Box, make sure to opt out.
